She longed to bring her beloved Ram to Orchha, and after much prayer and devotion, she set out on a journey to Ayodhya, determined to bring the deity to her kingdom. Legend has it that Lord Ram, pleased with her unwavering faith, agreed to return to Orchha with her, but under one condition: the idol must not be moved once placed.
When the queen returned with the idol of Lord Ram, it was temporarily placed in her palace. However, when the time came to shift the idol to a grand temple built for Lord Ram, it refused to budge. Honoring the divine will, the palace itself was converted into a temple, and thus, the Ram Raja Temple was born.
