Kashmir Great Lakes Trek
Kashmir Great Lakes is the best trek in India. This trek is different from the others because there are not one but five lakes flowing in the mountains. You will never get a chance like this to enjoy such fun and somewhere between natural beauty. Each of these lakes, each of them attracts us from thier attractive and natural beauty. The special thing is that all these lakes come one by one and for this reason, you can admire the beauty of each lake separately.
Going along the lakes to the mountains, you will also see snow. You can also see icebergs floating in the blue water of the lakes. The trek starts from Sonamarg and there is also a meadow of maples and palm trees in the middle which will give you a different form of Kashmir. There are also several huts of shepherds among the sunflower trees in this meadow. This lush green field is 40 feet wide and is also the main water source. Going forward, you will see the rays of the sun in the dense forests. This view looks very beautiful.
Upon reaching the valley of the river, you will see another meadow between two mountain chains. You will also feel peace here.
The first thing that will come to your mind after going near Vishansar Lake is the size of the lake. The colour of this lake flowing under the arc mountains varies from time to time. The colour of clouds and lake water varies according to the time of day. During the morning, when the sun spreads its light all around, its water becomes colourless. As the day progresses the water becomes blue and in the evening the water of the lake becomes green. Whatever the colour, the view of this lake is amazing.
