Here's a detailed itinerary of the Dzukou Valley Trek via Dimapur:

Day 1: Arrival in Dimapur and Drive to Kohima

You'll arrive at the Dimapur Airport or Railway Station and meet with your trekking guide. From there, you'll start the drive to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, which is approximately 74 km away. After reaching Kohima, you'll check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the local markets and sightseeing.

Day 2: Kohima to Viswema Village

On the second day, you'll start your trek to Dzukou Valley. You'll drive to Viswema Village, which is approximately 20 km away from Kohima. From there, you'll start your trek to the Dzukou Valley. The trek will take you through lush green forests, steep slopes, and rocky terrain. You'll reach the Dzukou Valley by late afternoon and set up your campsite for the night.

Day 3: Dzukou Valley to Japfu Peak

On the third day, you'll trek to Japfu Peak, which is the highest peak in Nagaland. The trek will take you through dense forests and rolling hills, and you'll get to see the famous Dzukou Lily and the tallest rhododendron tree in the world. After reaching the summit, you'll spend some time taking in the stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You'll then trek back to the Dzukou Valley for the night.

Day 4: Dzukou Valley to Viswema Village and Drive to Dimapur

On the fourth day, you'll trek back to Viswema Village, where you'll meet your driver and start the drive back to Dimapur. You'll reach Dimapur by late afternoon and check into your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the local markets and sightseeing.

Day 5: Departure from Dimapur

On the final day, you'll check out of your hotel and depart for the Dimapur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
